You are invited to the IU Libraries' Open Access Week events, October 21-25, 2013.
Learn about open access (OA), explore what it means for you as future library and information professionals, and engage in debates about OA challenges and triumphs. Sponsored by the Office of Scholarly Communication, and co-sponsored by the IU Libraries’ Scholars’ Commons and the Graduate and Professional Student Organization, this year’s events include two complementary roundtable discussions moderated by Dr. Cassidy Sugimoto, Department of Information and Library Science, workshops on publishing for students and writing data management plans, seminars on copyright and sustainable OA practices, a brownbag about altmetrics and institutional repositories, and other exciting events. Please visit the International Open Access Week site to learn more about the event. Join the conversation on Twitter #OAWeek.
