Vicky and Bill Stewart of Vamp & Tramp Booksellers will be displaying a wide range of rare artists’ books and fine press materials in the IU Fine Arts Library Reading Room on Monday, July 21, from 3:00 until 5:00 pm.

Based in Birmingham, AL, the Stewarts are one of the premier vendors of handmade artists’ books, travelling the United States with their vast and unique collection, selling to libraries, museums, collectors, and retail shops. They are frequent lecturers on artists’ books at major events, including conferences, and they have been working closely with individual book artists for more than a decade so it is also a great chance for students to see the materials and to ask them questions about each work.  This event may also be of interest to printmakers and other fine artists working in many different media.

The viewing is free and open to the public. For more information call the IU Fine Arts Library at 812-855-3314 or email libart@indiana.edu.
